Robyn Ferguson

I have been part of the Department of Education for over 30 years. My experience across this time has been broad – from a behaviour specialist teacher, Special Education Teacher, MSSWD project coordinator to my current position as Deputy Principal Special at Forest Lake State High School.

I am passionate that our sector has equal representation in the rooms and at the tables where decisions are being made. It is with this passion that I put myself forward as part of the management committee of QASEL. I currently chair the QASEL Deputy Principal Special Sub-Committee which has had significant influence on the QASEL DP Special Position Brief; QASEL Senior School Position Brief and the Disability Resourcing Review. I currently represent QASEL on the Department of Education QCE System Principal Reference Group and the QCAA Senior Secondary Committee.

I look forward to potentially continuing this work for a further 2 year tenure with QASEL management committee.
