Nicole Rouen

I would like to nominate for the positions of Management Committee and State Councillor (South East Region). I am currently the Principal of Beenleigh Special School, a position I have held for the past eight years. My professional interests include trauma-informed practice, senior schooling and post school pathways and building the capacity of aspiring leaders and teachers new to special education (not necessarily graduate teachers). I have been an active member of QASEL for 17 years and have held a wide range of positions including Secretary, Treasurer, Management Committee member, State Councillor and Conference Committee member.
